The Full Moon and Misplaced Hubris

At 2.37 p.m. today, 29 July 2026, the Moon will be full at 6 degrees Aquarius. Jupiter sits right in the lap of the Sun at 6 degrees Leo, while the Moon is joined by Pluto, God of the Underworld, in Aquarius.

Scorpio rises, ruled by Mars in Gemini, which is conjunct Ceres, Goddess of the Harvest, in the 7th house of others. Mars is a red hot planet.  And we see the harvest and the land burning up.

There is much in this chart that points to hidden or covert influences, where others are directing events behind the scenes. With the Sun and Jupiter in Leo, opposite Pluto, we see hubris, arrogance, great wealth, and the influence of big money.

For many people, this is a period of peak intensity and peak stress because this Full Moon plugs directly into the much-discussed Barbault Basket of the outer planets. Saturn, Neptune, and Pluto are all retrograde at present. Only Uranus, the planet of shocks and disruption, is moving forward.

The Moon's Nodes have also changed signs to match those of the Full Moon. Significantly, it is the Moon that shares its sign with the North Node, the point associated with destiny.

In my opinion, this Full Moon has much to do with the passage of our evolutionary destiny, as signalled by the planetary aspects, which are exceptionally rare. To have the outer planets, from Jupiter through to Pluto, whose orbital periods range from just under 12 years to 248 years, all moving in such remarkable synchronisation is astonishing.

I regard the outer planets as the great timers of civilisation, so this undoubtedly signals some form of profound change. It also points to a major shift in our belief systems, reflected by the placement of the Sun in the 9th house and the Moon in the 3rd house, the houses of higher beliefs and everyday thinking.

Kings, leaders, and those who hold the power and wealth that shape our collective destiny will always seek to influence outcomes for their own benefit. Yet it is ordinary people who, for now, must navigate the deepest transformations within their own destinies, as demonstrated by the North Node occupying their sign.

So, if you are a leader blessed with great wealth, I would suggest you do not become too consumed by your own hubris. But if you are an ordinary person, never believe you are powerless, because you most definitely are not. Allow your beliefs to evolve alongside our shared destiny.  But never forget that your power remains your own.
